HDB | ROOF GARDEN

RE-WATERPROOFING

Nano-Star NSC treatment used to waterproof the roof garden pebble wash flooring above the car park. Replaced the traditional hacking reroofing method - saving up to 80% work time and lowering manpower costs.

HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (HIP)

HIP project commenced in January 2018 and over 800+ unit owners were given the option to use nano repair system. Each toilet only takes 3 hours to repair. Awarded contractor trained by Nano-Star to use and apply.

As part of the R&R precint works, awarded contractor used NSC nano waterproofer to protect marble and granite claddings, slate tiles and walkway flooring.

MCST | WATER PLACE

RE-ROOFING

Nano-Star NSC coating was used to re-roof all 8 blocks and roof tops of Water Place condo at Tanjong Rhu. Nano-Star NSC was the alternative method that was awarded over and instead of the torch-on membrane system.

POOL DECK & SCUPPER DRAIN

To protect the wooden decking at the pool side, Nano-Star NSC was used to waterproof the deck above the car park. The scupper drain was also coated with NSC.

SANDSTONE PROTECTION

Nano-Star NSC coating was used to protect the sand stone cladding located all throughout the condo. By cutting down water ingress, sand stone cladding stay cleaner and recurrence of fungi and algae is reduced.

BASEMENT CAR PARK

Before reflooring the carpark lots, Nano-Star NSC was used to water proof the flooring and reduce water leaks. This project is sensitive as it is located right beside the Singapore River - hence requiring a powerful water resistant coating such as NSC.

MOE | NUS Bukit Timah

GRANITE FLOORING

Nano-Star NSC nano coating was used to protect granite floorings at National University of Singapore (NUS) Bukit Timah Campus (BTC). To reduce efflorescence build up, NSC was the perfect transparent coating that would not wear and tear under traffic and harsh weather conditions while maintaining the aged granite look.

BUILDING FACADE

Waterproofing was done to the mineral painted walls at the MOH building situated in Singapore General Hospital. The white walls already painted were protected by the transparent NSC nano coating.

WATER FEATURE POND

Water was leaking through the pond at the ground floor into the pharmacy below. To repair the leak, water was drained and NSC coating was used to spray inside the pond. Water pond was up and running in 2 days. Leak resolved.

U-HALL MURAL WALL

Nano-Star HDG V1 and NSC nano waterproofer was used in tandem to coat and restore the look of the mural wall at University Hall. The yellowed wall plagued with fungi was quickly restored after treatment. Beautiful blue finishing was revealed.

TOILETS NANO PROTECTION

To manage the odor caused by urine absorbing into the toilet tiles, toilets in T3 were coated with NSC nano waterproofer. After treatment, urine cannot penetrate into tiles anymore. Odor problem managed in all 85 units terminal wide.

SCIENCE LAB

To waterproof some leaking through the science lab flooring of Singapore Chinese Girls' School (SCGS), NSC nano waterproofer was spray applied to all science lab floors. After coating, leak was resolved with minimal inconvenience.

INTERIOR WALLS

Cold walls of the office building in Ministry of Communications near Clarke Quay was experiencing heavy condensation. To tackle this issue, Nano-Star Thermal Jacket (TMJ) was roll applied to all walls to stop condensate from damaging interior wall installations.

DISNEYLAND | SHANGHAI

CARPARK FLOORING

Nano-Star NSC nano coating was possibly the only Singaporean product ever specified in the architectural demands of the Disneyland team in Shanghai. Using the transparent NSC, the themepark's carparks were protected from water ingress.

After PU Injection had failed to solve the leaks from the pool to the rooms below, owner decided to employ Nano-Star NSC coating for a pool re-waterproofing. Repair finished within a week and leak has stopped.

SWIMMING POOL

Instead of hacking the tiles to re-waterproof the swimming pool, MCST at The Tropica decided to employ Nano-Star's NSC coating. Pool repair took weeks to complete - significantly faster repair time with Nano-Star.

NSC was sprayed on the floors and walls after repainting to protect paint and also prevent water ingress.

AIRCON DUCTS

Cold wind blowing from air con ducts located all around Stadium MRT was causing condensation drips onto the flooring. Nano-Star TMJ was coated onto the vents to drastically reduce and stop heavy drips and condensation.
